Chef Scott's talent for cooking came early in his life when he realized that he had a passion for good food prepared for his large hungry family by his grandma Vera.
Growing up in Massachusetts, supper at the Massidda household was always an event, characterized as much by the liveliness of the occasion as the delicacy of the meals. food was an expression of love, art, happiness, and companionship. The desire to turn those expressions into his vocations simmered slowly throughout his service in the army as a JAG attorney. Upon his discharge, Scott decided to follow his heart to culinary school. After graduating, he opened two country inns in the Chesapeake Bay area. One inn focused on fine French cuisine while one celebrated classic Chesapeake Bay seafood. Frequent travels to Spain, Russia, South America and South Africa in search of excellent cuisine further expanded Scott's Cullinary horizons. Now these influences have become part of his ongoing passion to create food that everyone can afford and enjoy.
